New Brunswick Recreation and Sport Sector Leaders Invite Political Candidates to Discuss Party Visions and Plans Ahead of Provincial Election

Leaders of the recreation and sport sector in New Brunswick have sent letters of invitation to leaders of political parties with seats in the legislature to meet with them and discuss the role of recreation and sport in the lives of New Brunswickers as well as their parties’ vision and plan for this vital sector in the upcoming provincial election.

Using the tagline “Parks to Podiums,” the group seeks to emphasize that recreation and sport are essential components of a healthy, vibrant, and engaged community. They contribute significantly to physical, mental, and social wellbeing of New Brunswickers of all ages and abilities and must be available to all who desire to have access to them.
