SIRC Concussion in Sport Symposium

On March 1, 2023, SIRC hosted Canada’s leading Concussion in Sport Symposium to showcase the latest research and best practices in concussion management across the nation.  The symposium aims to continue to prioritize athlete safety as well as provide opportunities to educate Canadian sport clubs, coaches and organizations on the latest protocols and policies for concussion safety. The one-day virtual event hosted hundreds of Canadian sport leaders, coaches, practitioners, and researchers, and consisted of dynamic speakers from sport organizations, leading academics and policy makers. Topics covered include resources and tips for recovery post-concussion, the impact of rule changes from sports like rugby and taekwondo, mental health considerations, concussion management for youth sport and much more.  To access these resources, click the Button below:
